I have some pilgrim sets made up in Black and Cranberry. They are 25.00 a set including shipping and come with a basket of pumpkins. They are very cute and 4 piece. As many of you know, I like to give board member first chance at my outfits at a set price, before listing on e-bay. PM me if you are interested.

I don't have the budget to buy one, but those are just beautiful! I am so enamored by all the seamstresses on this board.

I unfortunately don't have the extra $$$ right now for one (although I must say they're very reasonably priced!) but I just wanted to say how cute they are! Absolutely beautiful - I love the colour of the cranberry one!

Sorry I didn't list what the sets consists of. I've had inquiries as to what the 4 pieces are.
There is a blouse, skirt, bonnet and apron. The basket has a carrying handle and comes with foliage and pumpkins, which are scaled for the doll.

Pilgrims aren't Puritans, right? I mean, if one of your girls dressed as a Pilgrim encountered my namesake in your group, she wouldn't try to put her in a pillory or dunk her just because she isn't of the same faith, would she?

Seriously, your girls look too sweet in those costumes to be a real concern. I guess it's my past life in Salem that's making me nervous. Good luck with them!

This was PM'd to me by QNPoohBear, our local authority on history!

"Nope, not the same at all. Puritans wanted to purify the church and "Pilgrims" wanted to separate from the church. They weren't the same but they weren't at odds with each other. Your girls will get along fine LOL! Plus they would wear the same clothes, so unless they want to talk about religion, they need not know that they believe different things."

What a relief. Not all of my AGs subscribe to my personal beliefs (wiccan) but most do. At least the ones on Selkasset and in England!

I didn't know you were wiccan, Cherry! I love meeting people who follow some of the less mainstream religions. You can't throw a brick around here without hitting a Catholic. (And my husband's Catholic, so I'm allowed to say that. )
